Your accommodation for Gundagai
The Garden Motor Inn is located in Gundagai, just a few kilometres off the Hume Highway and close to many local attractions. Also a popular stop over point for those travelling between Sydney and Melbourne.
The town of Gundagai has become an icon of the typical Australian country town. Immortalised by the song 'Where the Dog Sits on the Tuckerbox' is the Dog on the Tuckerbox monument a few minutes from town. There is also many old buildings around town steeped in history and the old timber via duct built in 1866 which is the longest in the country.
You can try your luck fishing for Trout or Murray Cod on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River but keep one eye open for the mythical Bunyip as Gundagai has been the place of numerous sightings.
